When women bond together they grow together

There is an undeniable power in the collective energy of women coming together.

In a community based society women work together, they raise their families together, they share their fears and their joys together and they grow together collectively as they each support and celebrate the other.

In today’s modern society of quick fixes and competition women aren’t traditionally supported in bringing this form of culture into our own communities and backyards.

This is however changing as the rise of the retreat is becoming more and more accessible to everyday women.

I think that we can all agree that the awakening of the feminine is a growing phenomenon that is becoming more the norm.

Women are recognising that the way in which we live our lives is not sustainable, women are beginning to stand up more and more for each other and the number of womens circles popping up all over the place are on the rise.

There is a strength that arises when a group of women come together with a collective goal in mind.

Women have a huge capacity for empathy, compassion and kindness along with having a natural intuitiveness as to what the other needs or is going through.

Now this is not to say that men don’t have the same potential for this and more and more men are beginning to explore this aspect within themselves as all continue to grow and evolve.

I see this more profoundly in a retreat setting.

Whether it’s a weekend or a week when women come together for the intention of healing, self discovery, awakening and expansion there is a bond of sisterhood that develops that remains with the group for many years to come.

I love more than anything sharing with people the capacity for self discovery and growth through meditation.

Meditation has been the catalyst for healing on so many levels in my own personal and spiritual journey.

When you attend a retreat environment it is an opportunity for you to completely remove yourself from the outside world.

It is a chance for you to focus your attention on who you are and what it is in your life that lights you up, to recognise what your strengths are, to peel back all of your layers and to provide yourself with much needed compassion and kindness.

Like too many of us, we set out with the intention of introducing daily rituals and practices into our lives that will aid you in personal growth and overall wellbeing, but like all too many of you, your own needs are often placed at the bottom of your priority list.

When you attend a week long event you are giving yourself the unique opportunity to implement long lasting changes that you can then take back into your everyday life.

You do not go home the same person you were when you arrived.

There is nothing more rewarding than providing space for women to come together to bond, to grow and to rediscover themselves.

Blessings
